Why do I get a different fare of Cathay Pacific from my travel agent?

I booked my ticket of Cathay Pacific from a travel agent but when I checked fare of that flight online there was huge difference, why there is that much difference in the same flight of Cathay Pacific.

    Fares are subject to seat availability and fare restrictions. Hence, the fare quoted by your travel agent may not be the same as Cathay Pacific.
