Flood warnings are issued by Environment agency and the Scottish Environment Protection Agency and send to BBC Weather Centre, then a report is sent according to the threat. When there is a high risk of flood you get warnings about the risk in the TV as well. Both the Environment Agency (for England and Wales) and the Scottish Environment Protection Agency update their warnings 24 hours a day via the Flood line number. You can find out from these numbers about the risk of flood that effect you.
