   Students are generally eligible to apply to study abroad at Australian universities if they are currently enrolled at a university and have completed a minimum of two semesters of full-time study. Applicants from non-English speaking countries must satisfy English language requirements. These can differ between universities and students should check with the education counsellor about the proposed institution prior to application. In some cases study abroad and exchange students may be able to undertake additional English language training during their study abroad semesters.To obtain a full-time student visa, study abroad and exchange students must be enrolled full-time at the institution of their choice. Generally, one semester of study is between 12 to 14 weeks in duration.
