   Hi,
   Here's a side-effect I learned the hard painful way...
   
   The D part is the same as sudafed, but something like six times the amount of a single sudafed tablet. It's supposed to be time-release, but it doesn't work properly for everyone because we don't all metabolize drugs at the same rate. If you get a pounding headache and your blood pressure spikes, don't take Clartin D, but take regular Claritin and sudafed with it (the normal 4-6 hour dose a few times a day) so you aren't getting too much at once.
