   Here are the steps that you need to follow for the installation of Windows 7.
   
   Place the DVD of Windows 7 in your dvd-rom drive and then start your PC. Windows 7 will automatically start to boot up and a progress bar will appear. The next screen will tell you to setup your language, time and currency format, keyboard or the input method. Choose your desired settings and then click next to continue.
   
   The next screen will allow you to install or repair the Windows 7. Since we are going for a fresh install so we have to click on the install now button. Later on Read the license terms and then tick to accept license terms and click next to continue.
   
   You will then be presented with two options. Upgrade or Custom (Advanced). You have to select advanced option as we are going for a clean installation. Choose the destination of the Windows 7 installation. The process of installation will start automatically and it will start copying the necessary files on the hard drive. It will go through the various stages of the setup and will then reboot your system few times. When the PC reboots from DVD as its the first boot device do not hit any key during the boot prompt so Windows 7 will continue the installation by booting it from the hard drive. After the reboot the computer will be prepared for first use. The next step will be the entering of the product key, finally it will ask about the time and date and your location, by selecting the right one you can then press proceed and the installation will automatically be completed.
