I dont know what to do! Ive had my home theatre system for acouple months now but I cant turn it

Ive had my home theatre system for acouple months now but I cant turn it off!! Well I can except when it comes to turning it back on it gets tricky. It never turns back on right away... it takes some unplugging and right pushes of buttons and the right time, and each time it takes atleast 10 minutes for us to figure it out... I know it sounds wierd... but I dont know what to do... its constantly on because I feel like one day it just wont turn back on!! Help!!!
