Indian students duped by a fake university in California is this true?  I heard the government of India has condemned US authorities for tagging Indian students who, it says, were duped by a fake university in California.  

External Affairs Minister SM Krishan took a very strong stand on the issue and said Indian students were "not criminals" and that radio collars put around their ankles must be removed.

Is this all true?

     This is crazy, why would the indian students be deported, they applied and went through proper channels to go the the USA. It's the american government that failed. these students instead of being deported should be given a chance to attend other universities in California.
