   It is possible for the L2 visa holder to apply for a Green card and add the primary L1B or L1A visa holder as a secondary beneficiary.
   
   However, there is an inherent risk involved. The L2 visa holder might have to leave the country if the L1 visa holder's work is over in the US and needs to relocate. However, this depends on the stage in the GC process when this happens.
