    According to the International Civil Aviation Organization (ICAO), Dangerous Goods for Singapore Changi Airfreight Centre are articles or substances which are capable of posing a significant risk to health, safety, property or the environment. ICAO has classified Dangerous Goods into 9 classes as follows:                            Class1 Explosives
    Class2 Gases
    Class3 Flammable liquids
    Class4 Flammable solids; substances liable to spontaneous combustion; substances which, in contact with water, emit flammable gases
    Class5 Oxidising substances and organic peroxides
    Class6 Toxic and infectious substances
    Class7 Radioactive materials
    Class8 Corrosives
    Class9 Miscellaneous dangerous goods, Examples of Dangerous Goods include fireworks, poisons, pesticides, batteries, paints, magnets, biological specimens etc. Dangerous Goods have specific shipping and packing requirements which are detailed in the ICAO Technical Instructions for the Safe Transport of Dangerous Goods by Air.
