My adsense earnings are not increasing, Why?

i have put the ads in my website. one of my friend told that he had clicked the ad. but when i checked out my adsense earnings it was the same as earlier.  please help me

    one reason for your earnings not increasing might be that your site is not added as allowed site by Google. In order to do so, go to adsense setup and add you website in allowed sites. Then your clicks will be counted
