Hi, my friends and I am planning to watch a movie in cinema but didn’t finalize it yet that which movie to watch. My idea is for the “Jumping the Broom” as it is comedy film and I love to watch but I am not sure about my friends. I have watched Just Wright of Paula Patton  as she had performed wonderfully well. Please give us short review of the movie so that we can make our mind to watch it. Thanks!

Jumping the Broom is an American comedy film released on May, 2011. It was produced by T.D. Jakes, Tracey E. Edmonds, Glendon Palmer, Elizabeth Hunter, and Curtis Wallace, and it was directed by very famous director Salim Akil.

The name of the film is taken from the African American custom of married bride and groom jumping over a traditional broom.

The film was distributed TriStar Pictures in the United States.

Jumping the Broom is about two African-American families having opposite socioeconomic environment and getting together for a wedding in the city of Chilmark located Martha's Vineyard’s island in Massachusetts. Taylor is found in a six-month whirlwind romance including nights at the opera, sharing long-stem roses and attending live performances from R&B crooner El DeBarge and proposes to Watson at the opening of the movie. Watson, who goes to China for business, happily acknowledges. But doubts about their awaiting wedding set in motion to leak in when they confront complicated future in-laws, stress from friends, and revelations of dirty secrets.
