    As a total number of 45 homes have been destroyed by severe floods in Western Australia's east Kimberley region today, about 217 people have been evacuated as water continues to rise.
    The Fire and Emergency Services Authority (FESA) is reminding people to remain vigilant and patient after significant flooding struck several roads and bridges linking Derby, Fitzroy Crossing, Halls Creek and Warmun. Residents are being asked to reduce their electricity use where possible to help ease pressure on supplies.
    Evacuation and rescue efforts are being made across the Western Australia as the river level is rising.
