    I think this is an extremely personal question as everyone has differing views on what constitutes cheating and infidelity. What I can say however is that anytime you are going outside of your current relationship to get something or substitute something that your partner should be providing for you, you may be cheating. Beyond physical (even a passionate kiss with someone who is not your partner is cheating), emotional cheating can happen if you prefer or feel the need to go to someone else to feel a sense of passion or excitement that you should be receiving from your significant other.
