What is meant by ‘Blogroll’?

Blogroll is a term mostly bloggers use. I read a thread on a forum, someone asking for blogroll links. I myself have just started blogging on blogspot.com, but I didn’t find blogroll thingy anywhere. Can someone please help me with this term?

    Well, blogroll is a link list on a blog, usually linking to other blogs owned by the same company or friends of that blogger. Normally adding a link to your blogroll means, it’ll appear in sidebar somewhere and will be available on all pages of the site. You might not be able to see any blogroll option in blogger blog but in wordpress you’ll find it right in your admin area.
