   i dont think it was 80s and they was not there very long .. and they took a lot more money out of the club than they put in..they saw a fast buck and ran with the money when they thought united had peaked... can you name the horse that they fell out with fergie about ??
   
   they speculated and accumilated...we did well from them ...i dont know how you can liken it to city cos i doubt the shiek is gonna make money out of city... think about it bud ...
   
   i think note i said think your wrong bud the club was owned by the edwards family for many a long year and whilst fergie was there they almost sold the club for what i think was 12 million to a bloke i cant remember his name but he bought carlilse in the end ..then they floated the club on the stock market and held the majority share..thats when fergie talked macmanus and magnier into buying shares..they never held control of the club either..ps the horse was the rock of gibratar
   
   and as i said it was a buisness venture for them they put money in and took a lot more back out .. can you see that happening with the shiek ?? i think not... you dont need to try and point fingers at united for whats happening at city .. i honestly look forward to our up and coming encounters.. you cant buy everyone and you have to have the right set up .. you will i'm sure get the house in order but its gonna take time ..saying that it didnt take chelsea long.. but saying that again moureen had a great team when he took over ....
