The newly launched game by Zynga is at second position on online social games chart with over 55 million online players only in January 2011. It was released in June 19, 2009 for facebook. It was further released for the iPhone, iPod Touch and iPad on June 23, 2010. FarmVille is the first farming simulation. It is developed by Zynga. The main platforms of this game are Facebook and MSN games. However, it can be played on Apple iPhone and iPad as well. Members of Facebook can manage a virtual farm by performing different activities such as plowing lands, harvesting virtual crops, planting, growing and harvesting trees and bushes. Further, they can raise their livestock. FarmVille has similar features as Farm Town had. FarmVille has more than 62 million active users and there are more than 24.6 million Facebook application followers which are almost ten percent of all Facebook users. Microsoft's MSN Games also introduced FarmVille on its website on 4 February, 2010. To play there, you do not need MSN gaming id, you can play it with your Facebook account. The players of the FarmVille get farm coins by harvesting crops or visiting their neighbors. The player perform these activities by paying coins for plowing a land unit and for planting crops, such as peas on it, and harvest them after specific duration.
