Why is utorrent slow on vista?

I am using utorrent since 3 years on windows xp but now I have got vista on my system and utorrent is very slow on vista. Any idea why utorrent is slow and how to fix it.

     The reason behind utorrent being slow on vista is that, Vista blocks new connections if many connections failed to connect.
