Why we use registry cleaner?

I am using a good quality registry cleaner from a long time and also using antivirus. and i have not any <a href="http://www.download-registry-cleaners.com/slow-pc-start-up">Startup Problem</a> in my PC. So i am unable to differentiate that how registry cleaner is helpful for me?

Registry cleaners are to fix registry errors that occur when we install the new software or uninstall the existing ones. When we uninstall a software then some of its files resides in the registry which we can clean with these cleaners.
