Fresh from their Euro 2008 success, Spain have continued on their rampant World Cup qualifying campaign and have won seven out of seven. However, after last summer’s Confederations’ Cup and a hectic domestic campaign for all of their players, they may well suffer when it matters most.

    It's very possible because Spain's players haven't rested since the summer of 2007.

    Playing without a break for three whole years is bound to have an effect on the Spaniards, and I wouldn't tip them for World Cup glory even with their excellent squad. They'll be tired.
