Question:

airbags did not deploy

I was in a car accident last night.  My 2009 Honda civic was hit directly in the side.  None of my airbags went off, not even the curtain bags.  The impact was hard enough that I will need a new door and rear body panel.  I was just wondering if anyone has had something similar happen or is it totally dependent on each situation?

    airbags deploy with seat belts...if ur seat belts were on and still the air bags did not deploy then there is sum other issue and if ur seat belts were not on then the air bags wont deploy.....
