   Employee recognition is not just a nice thing to do for employee motivation but also is a communication tool that reinforces and rewards the most important outcomes people create for your business. When you recognize people effectively, you reinforce, with your chosen means of recognition, the actions and behaviors you most want to see people repeat. An effective employee recognition system is simple, immediate, and powerfully reinforcing. Rewards can be anything; they don’t necessarily be in the form of money or something expensive. Reward could cheap in cost or may be absolutely free of cost. Could be just a word of appreciation in a team meeting, a chocolate bar, a pat on the back or may be a picture of the best employee on the HR board. Such simple and cost effective things can do wonders. Just show your employees that you care and notice them!
   When we consider employee recognition processes, we need to develop recognition that is equally powerful for both the organization and the employee.
