how can i get my nuvi 1200 to turn on

it was working great and then i turned it off for a while then i tryed to turn it on and it would not i have tryed numerous times and it still wont turn on

    most likely the battery is dead.  plug it in for a couple of hours.  if it still doesn't boot, hold down the power button for 13-20 seconds which should force a reboot.  worked for mine.
