    I have this same problem on my light cream sofas. I use a standard non-wax based foam leather cleaner, it seems to lift most of the dye off quite easily. I also clean/condition every couple of months to try and stop the dye getting ingrained. If this doesn't work maybe try a car leather cleaner as these will be heavier duty.
