Question:

i cant seem to find the fuse box diagrams for a 1997 mercury mountaineer

the diagram is not inside my owners amnual and i talked to a mechanic who said that my alternator has 2 fuses that might cause it not to work, my battery is dead and i believe thats the case, i cant afford a new alternator so im hoping this is the problem. can anyone give me the diagrams or the link to where they are?

Hi,
Most cars have o2 sensors on the exhaust manifolds, and on the exhaust pipe behind the catalytic converter. Check out www.autozone.com They offer free online service guides that show these sensor locations, and may just have the one you need.
