   Certification of the integrated management system - “MERIT AWARD”
   
   In the company Elektrizace železnic Praha a.s. the requirements of management systems for: • Quality according to ISO 9001 • Environment according to ISO 14001 • Occupational health and safety according to ISO 18001 were unified into the integrated management system together with customers and other business partners requirements.
   
   The company decided to implement the integrated management system as a respond to customer’s requirements for higher quality and reliability and also based on the analysis that showed that without the integrated system it would be impossible to sustain the current market position.
   The certification of the system was performed by SGS’s team of experienced auditors and the final audit did not disclose any discrepancies.
   Based on these findings SGS recommended the company to be awarded the certificates for all standards and also the “MERIT AWARD” certificate, which is issued to the companies that fulfill all mentioned standards.
   SGS helped the customer with solving a wide range of problems e.g. work coordination, assignment delegation, establishing responsibility levels and also contributed  to introducing the advanced management system.
   The customers of Elektrizace železnic Praha a.s. confirm that the integrated system greatly contributed to improvement of products quality and better performance during the order realization.
