I read this article about Holi that it originated from some remote parts of china. Is this information correct.

    According to our knowledge Holi, is a spring festival celebrated by Hindus, Sikhs  and others. It is primarily observed in India, Nepal, Sri Lanka, so obviously its origin is from India where most of the Hindus live.
