maybenow - install missing plugins in firefox

i have mozilla firefox version 3.0.8, which is the latest version as of yet. my question is that why do i get this "additional plugins are required to display all the media on this page -- install missing plugins" alert when i open maybenow in firefox?
i don't get any such alert in internet explorer. anyone please explain?
