    If you are getting this message, it seems that the Network adapter (Where you connect the network cable) is not getting any signal from your network cable. Check if the cable is properly connected. Try removing the cable and re-insert it. If you still do not see a blinking light and the adapter still shows you as unplugged, it is obvious that there is no internet connection available. Try contacting your ISP (internet service provider and inform them about this message)
