sova 32 lcd troubleshooting

sova 32 lcd. sound but no picture. book says to use display function on remote. different remote included than pictured. remote only has source. went thru source until sound came on but no picture. menu will not show up.

    Hi,
    Thats the problem, Buy.com didn't tell me the company is out of business. On buy.com this tv falls under the "special return policy" which says contact the manufacturer for any issues with the set. Well the manufacturer doesn't exist anymore, so i was thinking I could take some kind of legal action against buy.com I dont really want my $500 to go to waste.
