sparkplug wires pattern for 1997 GMC Sierra

   Hi There,
     I'm going to assume that this is a 350 engine
   The engine should be a vortec code r (8th digit of vin)
   firing order is 18436572  the cap is tracked!  which means
   the wires for the left side of the engine(1357) go on the left side of the cap and the right side of the engine(2468) go on the right side of the cap plus the coil wire at the fifth position the order of th3 wires is stamped on the cap I dont have a manual with me at this time but i think it goes 1 3 7 5 on the left and 2 6 4 8 coil on the right. good luck
