I am new in Mexico and Mexicans here celebrate with great spirit. Does anyone here knows the reason behind the day of the dead.

    Dia de los muertos is celebrated in memory of those who have died. Many people honor the deceased in many ways, like making sugar skulls and visiting graveyards to decorate graves with marigolds and favorite foods of the dead. Here's a few links to go to.
