    Valentine's day finds its origin back to Greco Roman times, historian Jack Oruch has made this notable discovery, that  the traditions associated with "Valentine's Day", for the first time were documented in Geoffrey Chaucer's Parliament of Foules and set in the fictional context of an old tradition, and there was no such tradition before Chaucer.
