Question:

whirlpool gold refrigeratorGD5SHAXkQ00 cools just fine but the ice maker wont work.

I have a whirlpool gold refrigerator model GD5SHAXkQ00 I recently had an electrical repair (resitor i think).  now cools just fine but the ice maker wont work.

Things I've tried.:  
- Used jumper wire on the unit to make sure it turns/cycles (harvest).  And it spins just fine
- No water is filling the unit, so I looked at the rubber line (the part I can see) and I dont see any ice.  I cant seem to pull it out either.
- Sensor lights.  never seem to light up.  Except they do turn red for a second when you plug in the refer.  Other than that, no blinks.  Just dark even when you push the switches etc.

so motor works, no water in ice maker.  But I do get water in the water dispenser.  Suggestions?

    If you tried yourself and did not able to resolve this problem than visit company's service center near you because they will better tell you what is the main problem and they will fix it by them self in a better way.
