will i get my passport to my company?

i joined my company on november 2007.on february 2008 i had a problem of my left hand have cysts & decided to removed because i can't work seriously in my job.i underwent operation for 3hour for my cysts & i was giving a medical leave for 9 months.my big problem is i did not report to my job until now.what should i do?since my family badly in need in me to go back home in my country.should i leave in uae as soon as possible & my problem is i want to get my passport in my employer as soon as possible?do i have to pay any fees to my company?please help me....
i want to go back to my country immidiately..

in order for you to go back to your country you would require you passport. the best thing to do is to talk to your boss and explain your situation to him and get your passport before you leave. when you are sick and not able to work the company would be more than happy to let you go but i do not think they will pay you for the sick leave.
