'01 Sonoma won't start. 01 GMC Sonoma, wont start after a few hours of sitting... ran fine then

01 GMC Sonoma, wont start after a few hours of sitting... ran fine then when i went to start just turns over never fires...has fuel to the CMFI and will start if I pour fuel directly into carb... not sure what to check next.

    If the fuel pump isn't
    coming on then I would look at the wiring and connections. If there is a loose connection in the fuel pump wiring maybe when they replace the pump the contacts get cleaned up some and it will run for a while. Be sure to check the contacts for the fuel pump relay under the hood in the fuse box. Sometimes the pins will back out of the fuse box and not make a good connection to the relay. I have also seen where the connector that connects to the fuel pump have becomes very loose and lose power to the pump. This could be your problem with all the pumps you have installed.
