1997 f150 evap canister

noticed tonight a box hanging under the bed of truck. seams to be from over differential. Is this the evap canister?

    No. The EVAP canister A.K.A charcol canister is under the hood.

    Yes it is there should be two of them mounted on a bracket held in by two 13mm bolts on each side.
