   Hi,
   'No Name' for preparing to leave a bike parked long term. If the bike is not fuel injected, not only drain the fuel from the tank but also the carbs. This can be done easily by turning off the fuel at the petcock while the bike is running and just letting it run out of fuel. OR If you plan to just use a fuel stabilizer in the tank, be sure to run the engine for a while after you put it in, to allow the treatment to reach the carbs, thus preventing fuel to go bad while sitting in the carbs and gummin' up the whole works
