   Hi There,
   I hope someone has something good to say about Dacor, because I just ordered
   their 36" preference stainless steel gas cooktop and a pop-up vent. I'm
   stuck with downdraft venting because I currently have a builder-supplied
   Jenn-Air downdraft (which is the biggest piece of junk I have ever owned,
   btw) and I can't change the venting.
   
   I choose the Dacor over the Thermador for several reasons, one of which was
   the Dacor had a 14,000 btu burner and the Thermador didn't. It seems well
   made. Well, in any event, it has to be better than my Jenn-Air!
