Singapore passport holders aged 16 years old and above are required to come personally for the extension. If a Singapore passport holder is unable to do so personally, a proxy may be authorised to do so on behalf. The proxy would then be required to bring the holder's passport and NRIC, Proxy's NRIC and application form duly completed by holder. However, these does not exempt the holder from appearing in person in cases where the Passport officers considers it necessary.
