After falling to a 0-2 deficit against Australia in the ODI series, England's minds are clearly still getting over their thrilling Ashes victory in the long form of the game.

    The last time Australia toured England, the ODI series happened before the test battle. When England were thrashed in 2007, the ODI series after was the perfect pick up.

    Clearly the ECB has got the scheduling wrong this time.
