We've had this for about 6 years.  Recently an item was keeping the door from closing.  By the time we noticed there was much frost on the inside of the freezer.  The item was taken out of the freezer and the door closed, along with the usual seal/suction sound.  A few days after that we went to get something out of the freezer and things were melting!  And there were no obstructions. The door would not make the seal/suction noise anymore.  We ran out to get a new freezer so we could save the food.  We took this Frigidaire outside and thought we should give it another chance.  It froze a tray of ice cubes! But there is still no seal/suction sound as before.  What happened?  If we don't have to worry, we'd like to use it as a second freezer for meat.  Thanks!
