Is Fulham's remarkable achievement to qualify for Europe last season in reality a curse as they look to juggle the Premier League, Europa Cup, FA Cup and League Cup?

    The squad is too small to compete in all four competitions, and Roy Hodgson probably knows it. If the recent signing of Jonathan Greening was anything more than a panic buy to add another body to the squad then I'll eat several hats.

    They performed a minor miracle keeping hold of the likes of Hangeland and Dempsey. Zamora's a different matter.

    Hodgson's a smart manager and I'm sure if fatigue creeps into the squad he'll make sacrifices in the domestic cup competitions.
