To apply for Australian citizenship you must first determine if you are eligible for Australian citizenship or not. If you have transferred to Australia, have permanent residence, assure the residential necessities and are of virtuous character you may be eligible for Australian citizenship. Generally, applications for citizenship require:
1. Proof of identity documents:
All applicants must give proof of their identity. To prove your identity, you must provide the following documents.
I. Three (3) original documents that collectively show your:
Ø photograph
Ø signature
Ø current residential address
Ø date of birth, birth name and any changes of name
II. Proof of identity declaration completed by a person with the appropriate authority.
