How can I fix disc error of Avion DVD recorder?

I have a Avion dvd 100 recorder. It worked fine for a couple of years. Now when I put in the recommended DVD+R disc and press record a disc error comes up and it stops. I've tried the very expensive Staples DVD disk, and Memorex neither work. HELP!?

    i have had the same problem ,,,try a good disk cleaner...the machine seems to collect alot of dust. or get cleaned by a prof. cleaner company

    You need to change the lens of the DVD recorder. Otherwise, it will not work properly.


    Secondly, always insert DVD after removing dust or other particles from DVD.
