How can I get NMEA 2000 tilt trim on my Garmin GPSMAP

I have a Garmin GPSMAP that shows all the engine gauges except the tilt and trim. The Garmin shows the gauge, but with no pointer. How can I swithc on the pointer?

    This is a problem caused by NMEA2000 tilt/trim being combined in the same PGN, (sentence), as the main engine data. There is a solution to this already. A company called Tinley Electronics in the UK, www.tinleyelectronics.com produce an interface that superimposes tilt/trim data onto the existing NMEA2000 PGN's, fooling the Garmin display to think the data is in fact coming from the engine.     I belive that it will work with any engine or NMEA2000 combination.
