How do you record Left 4 Dead gameplay on PC?(with sound)

Hi I am 11 and my parents agreed that they would get it me for christmas, but the thing is, my dad said he would put vidieos of my L4D gamplay on his youtube account if I could find out how to record it on the computer(I dont want to film it of the screen because its rubbish quality) and Im detemined to end up playing with kilpixism of youtube one day because hes ace!I want to capture the moment.Aswell all the boys at school dont belive Im going to get it just because Im a girl (that loves video gaming!;)).And I want to prove to them I will!Please give a detaild answer of any link to a website that shows you how to, thnx! xoxox

you can use wegame or xfire but if you getting left 4 dead i suggest you wait for the second one to come out first

you go to the thing u put cheats in and tipe record<filename> but u need to make a file and name it then tipe the filename in were it ses filename and you dont need these <>
