How do you trouble shoot a Motorola Q smart phone?

i am trying to turn it on but it won't turn on and this is a new phone. i put it in the charger and it said verizon wireless on it for like 1 minute and then it went to a black sreen on it

    HI,
    that application that you downloaded changed your settings and that is why when you uninstalled it, it caused the problem you are having now. Since there is no way that I am aware of to change those settings back to what they were prior to your downloading the software, my only thought is to have it reflashed back to Cricket again and then you should be okay. I know that's a major pain, but there's no other way for you to change those settings back to what they were originally. I would strongly recommend against downloading freeware for a mobile device, especially anything that claims to monitor. This is a big scam, in my opinion and especially with a flashed device, it's going to be nothing but trouble. I hope this helps and I hope you are able to find somewhere or someone who can help you get the device flashed again. Thanks.
