Chilling Time: 1 hour Makes 2 cups Ingredients • 8 garlic cloves, crushed in a garlic press or minced • 1 teaspoon kosher salt, plus extra to taste • 1 1/4 cups mayonnaise at room temperature • 1 Tablespoon Dijon mustard • 1/2 cup extra-virgin olive oil • 1 Tablespoon fresh lemon juice How to make it 1. On a chopping board, mash the minced or pushed garlic cloves and 1 teaspoon of kosher saline to a paste utilising the flat end of a blade (or basin of a timber spoon).
2. Scrape the paste into a basin and add the mayonnaise and Dijon mustard.
3. Gradually whisk in the olive oil.
4. Stir in the lemon juice extract and time of the year with salt. Serve chilled as a spread
Note: The aioli should be kept refrigerated. (All financial mayonnaise should be refrigerated after opening.) If you chill this disperse overnight before assisting, the tastes will combine simultaneously more smoothly.
