Delaware is the best and mostbusiness friendly state in which to incorporate or form an LLC in the country. Delaware offerslegal protection, tax savings, flexibility and genuine anonymity.

Define and describe your business; Choose the best type of business entity for your company. You should check with your accountant to verify which entity is best for you

Choose your business structure Once you have a handle of what your business is and how it will be run, it's time to pick out a business model which can be either Sole Proprietorship, Partnership, Corporation or Limited Liability Company (LLC).

Create a name for the company, business or service that you want to start and makes it stand out from others.

Register your business and make sure you have registered your business with the city you are conducting business from.

Get an Employer Tax Identification Number (EIN). Your EIN will be your own social security number, whether you do or do not register a DBA/trade name. Most registering agents can assist you with obtaining your EIN (Employer Identification Number),

Step six: Register for your Delaware state and local city taxes

There are a few basic types of taxes small businesses in Delaware may register for.

    1. Individual Income Tax

    2. Taxes on LLCs, limited partnerships and corporations

    3. If you have employees

    4. Self-Employment Taxes

    5. Other state / city taxes

Get necessary licenses and permits and make sure that nothing extra is required when setting up your small business.
