   There are some complications that can be caused by this disease. If this disease is not controlled and no measure is adopted to prevent it then death can occur in some cases as complications of Asthma can lead to serious complications. Other complications also include the decreased ability to exercise and losing the ability to take part in other activities. Lack of sleep can also occur and is a symptom of Asthma.
   
   Other major symptoms are permanent changes in the function of the lungs. Persistent Cough also occurs in some stages of Asthma, you will feel trouble in breathing that requires the assistance of ventilator. The symptoms of Asthma can be reduced by avoiding some of the known triggers and substances that blocks the airways. Bedding can then be covered with allergy proof casings to reduce the exposure to dust mites. Another helpful thing can be the removal of carpets from bedrooms and also vacuuming which is very helpful. The materials like Detergents and cleaning materials in the home should also be unscented. Keeping humidity levels low and fixing leaks ca reduce the growth of organisms such as mold. They keep the house clean and also keep food in containers which are out of the bedrooms, this will help in the reduction of cockroaches, which can trigger asthma attacks in people.
   
   If the person is allergic to any animal then it is advisable to remove the animal from the home and if that animal is not removed from the home then it should be kept out of the patients bedroom.

   
   

   Also patients with Asthma should avoid air pollution, industrial dusts and also avoid other irritating fumes as much as possible.
